What is Dermaplaning?

So how does it work? Dermaplaning removes the outermost layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) by using a sterile surgical blade. By gently scraping off the top layer of dulling dead skin cells it reveals a smoother, brighter complexion. It is highly effective in minimizing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and acne scars and only takes about 30 minutes. No side effects and no downtime.

Dermaplaning is becoming a favorite among women as it eliminates that annoying peach fuzz, leaving the skins surface incredibly smooth and creating the perfect canvas for any makeup application. Dermaplaning also allows for greater penetration of skincare products and who doesn’t want that!

Time: 30 minute approximately and includes a targeted mask or LED Light Therapy.

How Often: Dermaplaning should be performed every 4 weeks. This allows the skin to complete its normal skin renewal process of approximately 28 days.

Questions: Will my hair grow back thick? Impossible!!! The soft, fine vellus hair will grow back slowly, usually about 4 weeks. Can I do this if I have cystic acne? We recommend waiting until the breakouts have subsided before getting this procedure.
